The sitting room is double aspect and features an open fireplace with flagstone hearth and French doors opening onto the rear garden whilst the dining room provides great space in which to entertain your guests. There is also a downstairs cloakroom.
The first floor features four bedrooms and a family bathroom, with the master bedroom benefiting from an en-suite shower room and fitted wardrobes being in both the master and guest bedrooms.
Outside, the rear garden gets the sun for most of the day and has been landscaped to provide a garden which is mainly laid to lawn with a patio area and a timber garden shed. There is gated access at the end of the rear garden and also gated access to the front of the property, which leads to the off-road parking.
Wicken is a pretty village situated approximately three miles south west of Stony Stratford. Between 1218 and 1282 it was divided into two parishes, named Wyke Dyve and Wyke Hamon, the brook running through the village being the boundary line. The two parishes had been re-united in 1587 and called Wicken. Every year since then, on Ascension day, this has been celebrated, and there has never been a break in this tradition. Although the village has changed over the years with new houses built and such places as the post office, bakehouse and the old forge becoming dwelling houses, Wicken still retains the old-world atmosphere of a country village. There is highly sought after schooling in the village with Akeley Wood Junior and Nursery School. There is also a tennis club, cricket teams and football teams for the sporting enthusiast and a thriving village pub.
The towns of Stony Stratford and Buckingham provide schooling, leisure activities and day to day shopping while Milton Keynes provides extensive shopping, leisure and educational facilities, including one the largest undercover shopping centres in the UK, a theatre, night clubs, restaurants, bars, cinema complex, bowling alley and further education.
